Hello, I thought about this contest since I got 1.5k subscribers on Planetminecraft.com about 2 months ago. It will be my first celebration and my first contest skin.
The rules of this contest are similar to Planetminecraft.com's contest but the prizes are different. There is no 1st place winner because everyone can win the same prize, so every participant can get prize for sure if he/she make very good skin. There are 4 levels of prizes: Gold, silver, bronze and crystal (finalist), all prizes may be trophy or medal pixel arts and some codes for special future events on servers.
I finished writing detail and rules for this contest and now I am working art stuff for contest banner and reference. The theme is very wide allowing participants to create skins with their ways: hero, animal, monster, warrior, golem and other kinds that relate to the theme, but it will be hard work for judges to deal with the variety of skins. To prevent this problem, I planned to make judging system with parameters and description each, and my ideal skin rule will be applied for this contest skin (UCCD), too.
Participants will have quite long time to make their own original skins because submission duration will be one month, so it will make sure that participants will make best entries. If you are going to join this contest, please make original, creative and fresh skin. The contest will be released soon!
